Went to rent a pressure washer with a floor cleaning accessory. We drove 30 MN to the store because it was the only store who had it. We rented the equipment for 4 hrs to clean a small y basement. When we arrived home, we realized the hose was broken. We called the store and their response was to return the hose or the whole equipment. We live on a residential area and when we explained the inconvenience of traveling 1 hr. to change a hose they only offered us to keep the equipment overnight until 9am. Poor customer service and poor equipment maintenance. Never again!!!!!

It only seems when I do need help at Home Depot nobody asks me, but when I know exactly what I want and I'm just making a selection between two particular items they're always bugging me can I help you sir can I help you sir..haha.. just ironic I guess although when I did ask the sales associate for help she was very pleasant and directed me right where I needed to go. In general I found everything I needed and the staff was very pleasant including the cashier who checked me out so Home Depot in South Plainfield is a good place to shop if you're looking for hardware for your home use or commercial use
Let's see. Where to start. Could it be the lack of manners when picking up the phone or lack of knowledge. I think they both win here. Just called to inquire about the delivery and installation fee of a dishwasher I was WILLING to pay for and wow...the amount of times I got thrown into a loop to various departments to get someone or just an answer was unbelievable. I'm shocked at the rating of 4.5 they have being that this was my first interaction over the phone which equated to about 15 mins of talking to 8 people who didn't have an answer or had the wrong one. Way to go with hiring A+ employees! Great job!
Greeted at the door, a worker asked if I needed assistance, which I did and he helped me find what I needed. At self check out I saw there was no bar code on the item and a worker at the self check out quickly assisted me by going to the product aisle and scanning the few into his device. What could have been a long hour was only 20 minutes. Great!
