There is a separate cleaner section for people of Indian decent I found this section clean and fully staffed. In my experiences this is a form of discrimination beyond what the federal law would even permit.
If there was a negative star review I would give this place it. My mother received less than par care here. The nursing staff did very little for her. There was often times I had to personally seek their attention that come to her aid. I cannot even imagine in my absence what the care level was like.

My mother has been at AristaCare-Cedar Oaks for almost 10 years. When she first was admitted, we thought it unlikely she would live a year due to her poor neurological function. It is due to the great care she receives that she is still living. The staff treat her like she was their own mother. Despite being bed-ridden she has never had any issue with bed sores/skin breakdown. Despite being nonverbal, everyone (nursing, aides, housekeeping, activity coordinators, I could go on!) knows who she is, and greets her by name and a friendly smile and converse with her, even though she cannot answer back other than with her occasional smile/laugh. She has had the same CNA care for her during her time there, and most of the nursing staff and aides are the same, which says a lot about the facility to have minimal to no staff turnover. The doctors are very reachable and helpful if any issues arise. The staff in the Business Office and Admissions are also very accessible and helpful. I would recommend this facility without reservation to anyone making the difficult decision of needing to move a loved one into a nursing home. My mother is on the Indian unit, where the food, entertainment, language are familiar to her homeland, which is a terrific find. Some Indian residents come all the way from California! My siblings and I are about 2 hrs away, but it is worth it knowing she is so well taken care of! Additionally, the facility is beautifully maintained and very clean compared to many of the nursing homes I have visited.
I highly recommend AristaCare at Cedar Oaks. It is a patient-focused facility. The administrative staff presents high quality care and service. Among the many attractions is the cleanliness of the facility and the friendly atmosphere. The nursing staff is exceptional. The therapy offered to the clients is superb! I rate this facility as extraordinary!
I came to visit hennya Hillel. I was very impressed with the staff. They were very courteous. Place was impeccably clean and orderly. Was very impressed that the owners have segregated a special room for the Jewish patients needs even though I understand that there are not too many people who use the room. I wish you lots of luck.
AristaCare at Cedar Oaks has met my expectations of care. With a facility as large as this one there is always room for improvement. The administrative staff was very willing to listen to patients needs and address the concerns in a timely manner. I have no problem in recommending AristaCare at Cedar Oaks to anyone who may ask. My one concern that I have recommended to the facility is the need for more staff per patient ratio and I believe that AristaCare will be looking into this matter. That said, AristaCare of Cedar Oaks gets my 5 star rating and an additional star for dealing with a Redhead who pushed them to excel beyond the 5 star for patient care. :)
