The best cod fish and fries I've ever had. I love their monster shake as well. Great atmosphere and comfortable seating. Service is top notch.
The cheeseburger was excellent. Cooked how you want it. Fries were hot and we had without salt, so you really got the taste of the potato. The server was on the ball. No unreasonable waiting .
This red Robin is getting better. Usually good service and good food. Every once in a while it will be not great, but more or less on the up and up.
Visited the South Plainfield Red Robin last Saturday with my family. It was the WORST experience I have ever had a restaurant. The establishment with dirty and the customer service was beyond poor up to and including the Assistant and General Managers. I ordered a side garden salad and was in the middle of eating it when I noticed a DEAD BUG! It took over 20 minutes after the complaint to get a check so we could leave and eat elsewhere. I submitted feedback through Red Robin's website and still haven't heard back from them. Such a disappointment! Do yourself a favor and don't at Red Robin!!!
came here on 12/2 and my bill was 28.74, I paid that with card and left cash for a tip (better for servers to get cash) I wrote the final amount on the receipt to be the bill and wrote "cash" in tip... they charged an additional 3 bucks to my card! 31.74 is what posted! 3 bucks no big deal, but the fact they have a thief ringing up people's credit cards... watch out. It's a shame too, food is good and staff seemed friendly, but I'll not be returning and warning others to follow suit
